This video was a bit unbearable to watch. It is heart wrenching to see those animals go through so much pain just to get slaughtered for consumption. I heard of this kind of thing before and I’ve seen pamphletes and short videos about it as well. It is horrendous. I myself have a heart for animals, but I cannot deny the fact that I am a meat eater as well. I think that meat is an important part of the diet and the way it is slaughtered and grown should be a sanitary process as well as a safe one for the animals while they are alive so as to not spread disease and illness to the consumers. I am not against meat eating, but I am against how these animals are slaughtered and the way in which the farmers are taking care of them. It is literally disgusting.
I too believe that some people do need some meat in their diet, but most could decrease the amount of meat they do eat and actually improve their health. That said, the conditions in which most food animals live and die is disgusting and a threat to human health.
